According to the report of Ravi Singh, this app has received excellent response in Delhi-NCR. NAFED Director Ashok Thakur, associated with the Ministry of Cooperation, said that the confidence of both drivers and passengers in this app seems to be increasing in Delhi. He says that there are plans to launch Bharat Taxi app in big cities from January 2026. This app will work like Ola and Uber, but it will have many such features which will be of interest to both common people and drivers.
Drivers are getting a reliable platform
Many drivers have joined Bharat Taxi. Shiv Kumar, a taxi driver in Delhi, has told that he was earlier associated with Ola-Uber, but now he has chosen Bharat Taxi app. They say that here the earning is more and the control is in their hands. Another driver Ashok Yadav says that Bharat Taxi’s model seems right to him because it is a better means of earning and employment for the country. He believes that India’s money should stay in the country, so he chose this app.

Balbir Singh, President of Delhi’s Rajdhani Tourist Drivers Union, says that this app has brought relief to the drivers. According to him, it was difficult to solve the problem of drivers in private companies. Many times even the driver’s ID was blocked due to accidents or complaints. In such situations, drivers became frustrated and unemployed. Due to government monitoring in this app, they are feeling more secure.
Registration is increasing rapidly
Registration facility has been provided at 40 centers in Delhi. Every day around 2,000 drivers are joining this app. It is expected that this number will increase further in the coming times.

This app will give people the option of traveling by bike, auto and car. This model will be run through Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Limited. Its objective is to protect the interests of both drivers and passengers.
Fare relief: No surge pricing, no hidden charges
The biggest feature of Bharat Taxi is that there will be no surge pricing. Fare will not be increased due to rain, high demand or traffic. Passengers will see the pre-determined fare, so that they will not have to fear high bills.
Commission will not be taken from drivers
No commission will be deducted from the drivers working on the app. They will have to pay only membership fees, which will be in daily, weekly or monthly form. Drivers will get more savings than this.
Loan and employment opportunity to drivers
Drivers associated with Bharat Taxi will also be able to get loans in future. With this they will be able to increase employment by buying their own car.
Security arrangements and technology
Special attention will be paid to safety in Bharat Taxi. An agreement has been made with Delhi Police and Gujarat Police. Real time tracking, verified drivers, multilingual support and 24×7 helpline will be present in it.
When will it be launched?
This app is currently available on Play Store in trial mode. The Government of India will launch it officially from 1 January 2026. After this it will be spread in more than 20 cities including Rajkot, Mumbai, Pune, Bhopal, Lucknow and Jaipur.
