This is the easiest way to protect the tank water from extreme cold during cold weather. Covering it with a thermal insulation set or foam cover. This is a cover that prevents fog, frost and cold air from entering the tank, due to which the temperature of the water in the tank remains normal.
Another solution to maintain the normal temperature of the water tank kept on the roof in extreme cold is to paint the tank kept in the open in black color. By doing this, the water in the tank will remain normal even in extreme cold, because black color absorbs heat and draws heat rapidly even in mild sunlight. Keep in mind that the paint should be waterproof and durable, so that its effect remains for a long time.
