The ingredients required to make this delicious carrot sweet require 4 to 5 fresh carrots, half cup of sugar, 1 cup of rice flour and enough refined oil for frying. First of all, wash the carrots thoroughly and cut them into round shapes. Now steam them in a steamer for 8 to 10 minutes. Carrots get cooked quickly and well in steam. After steaming, take out the carrots and let them cool completely. When it cools down, put the carrots in a mixer and make a fine paste.
Now add half cup sugar to this carrot paste and mix well. Now add rice flour to carrots and mix well. Make small and big round shapes from the prepared mixture. Place them on the sieve to take out the puris and print the design by pressing lightly on top. Now heat oil in the pan and fry these balls on low flame for 5 to 6 minutes until they become golden. Cool the prepared sweets and store them in an airtight container.
Carrots contain abundant amounts of Vitamin A, which helps in improving eyesight. This sweet is also beneficial for the mental and physical development of children. Carrots improve digestion and strengthen the body’s immunity. Eating it in winter provides energy to the body and removes weakness.
