Why is this ‘Osprey’ an alarm bell for China-Pakistan?
Turmoil has increased in the Indian Ocean region in recent times. In such a situation, India had to increase its surveillance capacity. The induction of helicopters like MH-60R into the fleet is very important strategically. This squadron will be able to sense any move of the enemy in advance. This squadron will also help in search and rescue operations.
There is no solution to this in anti-submarine warfare. This preparation of the Navy shows that India will not compromise on its security.
