During this period, the investigation team seized a large consignment of fake notes. During the raid, the police took into custody the main accused Gaurav Pundir who made the notes. Gaurav Pundir is facing serious allegations of consumption of fake notes in large quantities in Delhi and Rajasthan.
Let us tell you that just a few days ago, Rajasthan Police had recovered fake notes worth Rs 2 lakh 90 thousand from the possession of two miscreants. The miscreants had told during police interrogation that they had brought this note from Saharanpur. The accused had also told that the work of preparing fake notes is being done in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Both the miscreants wanted to use fake notes.
Regarding the entire matter, Jaipur Special Police Commissioner Rahul Prakash had said that one of the accused is Govind Chaudhary, resident of Jhalawar and the other is Devansh Phanda, resident of Jaipur. Fake notes worth Rs 1 lakh 90 thousand and Rs 1 lakh were recovered from Devansh’s possession. He had said that after interrogating the miscreants, a police team will also go to Saharanpur. Two days before December 16, two miscreants were arrested in Vidyadhar Nagar, Jaipur and fake notes worth about Rs 82 thousand were recovered.
