Ambala News: Ambala’s young talented artist Anuj Prince has brought glory to his city by winning first place in the National Painting Competition held in New Delhi. His painting on Save Energy showed its magic in front of President Draupadi Murmu and he was honored with a National Certificate, Rs 1 lakh and a laptop.
Ambala: Colors have their own importance in human life, because only colors fill happiness in life. In this world of colours, Ambala’s young Anuj Prince has brought glory to Haryana in India with his talent. Anuj, who lives in Nahan House area of Ambala, recently won first place in the national painting competition held in New Delhi. This achievement not only brought glory to his family and Guru Mohan Dhiman, but also increased the prestige of Ambala.
This National Painting Competition was organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India. 83 lakh students from about 1 lakh 10 thousand schools across the country participated in the competition. Anuj Prince presented his painting on the theme “Save Energy” and after seeing it, President Draupadi Murmu honored him with a National Certificate, a check of Rs 1 lakh and a laptop.
Anuj told Local 18 that he has been fond of painting since childhood and for the last one year he has been learning painting from his fine art teacher Mohan Dhiman at SA Jain Senior Model School, Ambala. His father is a foreman in a private company and his parents always encouraged him to take up painting. Anuj told that he along with his teacher prepared for this competition for about a month. Initially it took 5 hours to make the painting made on Save Energy, but after practice it was completed in 2.5 hours. Anuj says that in future he wants to pursue his career in fine arts and wants to bring glory to Ambala in the upcoming competitions. Along with this, he is also active in musical instrument band and is getting full support from the teachers of his school.
Anuj’s fine art teacher Mohan Dhiman told that this competition was of national level and before that there were district and state level selections. In this, Anuj was selected from Haryana and in the competition he had to make a painting on the theme of save energy in two and a half hours. He told that Anuj learned to prepare excellent paintings in this time limit by practicing 5 to 7 hours daily. Mohan Dhiman said that he has trained many students from 2017 to 2025 and made them successful at the state and national level and Anuj is also one of them.
President Draupadi Murmu honored Anuj by giving him a certificate in the form of National Award, a check of Rs 1 lakh and a laptop. This achievement of Anuj Prince proved that with talent and hard work any youth can bring glory to the country and city.
