An emotional incident has come to light from Pennsylvania, America, where a box sealed with tape was found outside a building in the extreme cold. There was a small note on the box. There was a request for help. Which immediately brought the animal shelter staff into action and an innocent life was saved.
Shelter homes are places where stray animals are given a home and taken care of. The story of a shelter home in America is in discussion these days. That’s because someone left a big box outside this shelter home. There was a letter stuck on that box. When people looked inside that box, they were very surprised because there was a dog inside.
An emotional incident has come to light from Pennsylvania, America, where a box sealed with tape was found outside a building in the extreme cold. There was a small note on the box. There was a request for help. Which immediately brought the animal shelter staff into action and an innocent life was saved. This incident happened on the morning of 9th December. A person visiting the Pennsylvania SPCA clinic saw someone leaving a box outside the shelter’s door. The temperature was below zero. When the man noticed something was wrong, he immediately went inside and informed the staff. The employees reached out and when they opened the box, there was a dog inside looking at them in fear.

In the note kept inside the box, the dog’s owner had explained his helplessness. According to the note, the owner was being thrown out of the house and was left with no other option. Under this compulsion, he left his pet dog outside the shelter, so that it could be safe. In a post of Pennsylvania SPCA on Facebook, it was told that this female dog was named Tangi. After being brought to the shelter, Tangi was trembling with fear and due to extreme stress, there was a lot of saliva coming out of her mouth but despite such a scary situation, Tangi had a very calm and loving nature. During the examination, she repeatedly stood close to the staff and wanted attention.

A representative for the shelter told Newsweek, “We were very sad for both Tangi and her former owner. It seemed as if the owner had to make a decision he never wanted to make, but circumstances forced him to.” The team estimates that Tangi is around 9 months old. Her breed could not be completely confirmed, but many people believe that she could be a Shiba Inu mix. As per the rules, the tangi was kept on ‘stray hold’ for 48 hours, so that the owner could return if he wanted, but no one came to collect it within the stipulated time. However, after this painful beginning, Tangi’s story had a very happy ending. Last week he found a new home and was adopted. As soon as this news came out, people’s emotions ran high on social media.
