Mau News: There is no need to worry about staying in Mau during winter season. In the temporary night shelters built by the government and the Nagar Panchayat administration, the travelers and the needy are being provided clean beds, blankets, tea-water and safe shelter facilities for free, so that they can get relief from the cold.
Mau: With the onset of winter season, considering the problems faced by the poor and needy people as well as the travelers coming from outside, the Nagar Panchayat in Mau has set up temporary night shelters at various places. The purpose of these night shelters is that the travelers do not have to wander here and there in the cold weather and they can get safe and comfortable stay. In this sequence, temporary night shelters have been established in the areas adjacent to the roadways bus stand, where all the basic living facilities are being provided.
Mohammad Saqib, employee of the temporary night shelter, said that the Nagar Panchayat administration has made this arrangement so that the passengers do not face any kind of problem during the winter season. Earlier in the winter, passengers had to wander due to lack of space, but this initiative of the government is proving to be a great relief to the passengers during the entire winter season.
How to get a bed in a night shelter?
To stay in night shelter, it is mandatory for the passengers to bring Aadhar card or any other identity card. Will not be allowed to stay without identity card. Clean beds have been provided for the people staying here, along with proper arrangements for blankets and bedding. Biscuits, snacks, water and tea are also provided to the passengers, although there is no provision for food, passengers will have to make arrangements outside for this.
Where has the temporary night shelter been built?
Temporary night shelters have been built near Ghosi roadways in Mau district, at a distance of about 50 meters from the roadways in Mohammadabad Gohna and near Nagar Panchayat in Madhuban. In all these night shelters, separate accommodation arrangements have been made for male and female passengers. Depending on the location, somewhere 15, somewhere 20 and somewhere 25 beds have been installed. There is no time limit for staying here; travelers can stay here as per their need, whenever they want and for as long as they want.
