UP Lekhpal Recruitment 2025: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced recruitment for 7994 vacant posts of Lekhpal. The application process will start from 29th December. The Commission has completely changed the syllabus of Lekhpal recruitment this time. The youth who are dreaming of becoming accountants in UP will now have to prepare for the exam on the new pattern.
Now only five marks questions will be asked from rural society in UP Lekhpal recruitment exam. In the Lekhpal recruitment of 2022, 25-25 questions were asked on the subjects of rural society and development. Let us know about other major changes.
Math removed from accountant recruitment exam
The biggest change in the UP Lekhpal recruitment exam is regarding Maths. The Commission has completely removed Math from the syllabus. However DGI will remain involved. From this, 10 questions of 10 marks will be asked.
Computer and IT got place
GK related to Uttar Pradesh along with computer and IT has been included in the syllabus of UP Lekhpal recruitment exam. Which was not there before. The role of Hindi has been reduced in the examination. Earlier questions of 25 marks were asked from general Hindi. Now only 10 marks questions of Hindi will be asked.

In this, information about social, cultural, economic and political aspects of Indian history will be given.
The Indian National Movement includes a brief study of the freedom struggle, the development of nationalism and the main events leading up to India’s independence.
2. Indian Polity and Constitution
