There is not a light haze in the sky but a thick blanket of pollution which has started directly affecting the health of the common people.
air quality severe
The air quality in Faridabad today was recorded in the severe to hazardous category. AQI has reached around 370 in many areas of the city. In areas like Sector 17 and Sector 65, AQI was recorded between 370 to 398, which is very worrying. The situation is a little less in Sector 30 and Sector 46, but here too the AQI remains between 275 to 288, which falls in the very poor category. At many places, the levels of PM2.5 and PM10 were found to be many times higher than normal, due to which people are having trouble breathing.
