Haryana Weather Update: Due to the partial impact of another western disturbance from December 18, there will be a change in the weather between December 18 and 20. There will be partly cloudy sky during this period. A slight drop in day temperature and a slight increase in night temperature are possible. Due to increase in humidity, light to moderate fog may occur at some places in the morning.
Haryana Weather Update: The winter of December has now become a headache for the farmers in Ambala district of Haryana. It has been so cold continuously for the last two days that every morning a thick blanket of white fog is visible in the fields. In fact, it is difficult to see early in the morning. This weather has increased the worries of farmers. Especially those people who have planted potatoes and mustard in their fields. According to him, if a few more days pass like this then the crops will be ruined and due to the cold it has become difficult for people to leave their homes. If we talk about 16th December i.e. yesterday, the lowest temperature recorded in Narnaul district was 6.0 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature recorded in Palwal district was 25.4 degree Celsius. This morning’s temperature in Haryana is 12°C.
Dr. Madan Lal Khichad, Head of the Agricultural Meteorological Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, told Local 18 that the weather in Haryana will remain dry and changeable till December 20. During this period, today i.e. on 17th December, the night temperature may drop due to north and north-west cold winds blowing at light to moderate speed. But there is a possibility of a slight increase in the day temperature. At the same time, Dr. Khichad said that due to the partial effect of another western disturbance from December 18, there is a possibility of partial cloudiness from December 18 to December 20. This may cause a slight drop in day temperature and a slight increase in night temperature. During this period, due to increase in humidity in the atmosphere, there is a possibility of light to moderate fog at some places in the early morning.
At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding haze in the coming days in the areas adjacent to South Haryana, Rajasthan and some districts of NCR. IMD has advised drivers to be careful especially in the morning and night to avoid accidents. During this period, there is a possibility of dense fog and mist in the morning till 17-19 December. The minimum temperature may remain low, while light-moderate fog will persist during the day. The Meteorological Department has also warned about the air quality that due to dense fog and smog, pollution can reach serious levels. Its effect will be visible in the plains from December 20 and the weather will remain dry till December 21 and then the weather will change rapidly. After this, the weather will change rapidly from December 22. On this day, cold wave, cloud cover and drop in temperature will be recorded. There may be a slight increase in temperature on 23rd December. But there will be a possibility of cloud cover and light rain.
AQI level has become very bad
With increasing cold in Haryana, AQI level has also started increasing, due to which respiratory patients are facing a lot of problems. According to aqi.in, AQI level 337 was seen in the capital Delhi in the morning. Whereas in Faridabad district of Haryana, AQI level has been recorded at 313 in the morning. The AQI level of Gurugram district has been recorded at 287 in the morning, while in Ambala district the AQI level has been recorded at 291 in the morning.
