Lakhimpur Kheri: Road construction work is being done in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, so that the local people do not have to face problems. In such a situation, the road built by the Mandi Committee has become dilapidated and has started crumbling due to which the local people are facing a lot of problems. The villagers have also sent a complaint to the Chief Minister and DM alleging corruption in the construction work.

Villagers allege that there has been massive corruption in road construction. The road had not even been completed when it started crumbling, when the villagers complained about it, it was repaired by patching. After that the payment for the road was made. Only one year has passed since the construction, this road is broken at many places. Due to which the accidents have also increased and no one is paying attention to it whereas another state government is also continuously working to build better roads in rural areas.

Villagers including District Panchayat member Anil Verma, Narendra Verma, Rakesh Mishra, former District Panchayat member Prem Narayan Bhargava have accused District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal of corruption in road construction and demanded action after investigation. The villagers have also complained about this on the Chief Minister Portal.
The road is completely uprooted
Giving information, Narendra Kumar said that there has been a lot of corruption in the road that has been built. Complaints were made from the District Officer to the Chief Minister Portal, but no hearing has taken place. This road was constructed a year ago, but the road built a year ago is now completely uprooted and dilapidated. Narendra Kumar told that the construction work of this road was done by the Mandi Committee one year ago.
