Bihar Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh met Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya in Delhi. During the meeting, Dr. Mandaviya has given verbal consent to open an Olympic training center for fencing in Bihar. This is a big achievement for the sports world of Bihar. Apart from this, a team from Bihar will also participate in the sports expo to be held in China.
New Delhi. Today brought a big achievement for the sports world of Bihar. Bihar’s Sports Minister Ms. Shreyasi Singh met Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State Smt. Raksha N. in Delhi. Met Khadse. During this, Dr. Mandaviya, appreciating the efforts of Bihar, has given verbal consent to open an Olympic training center for fencing in the state. Along with Shreyasi Singh, Director General cum Chief Executive Officer of Bihar State Sports Authority Ravindran Shankaran was also present.
Shreyasi Singh informed about the sports achievements of Bihar in the world and the concrete work being done by the state government for the development of players. Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya assured Bihar of all possible help from the Center in the field of sports. Appreciating the efforts and achievements of the Bihar government, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya assured every possible effort and cooperation by the Center for the all-round development of sports and players in the state. Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh put forward the request and proposal to Dr. Mandaviya to open an Olympic Training Center in Bihar also, on which the Union Sports Minister gave his verbal consent regarding opening an Olympic Training Center in Bihar for fencing.

Dr. Mandaviya invited Shreyasi Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of Sports Department, Dr. B. to participate in the important ‘Khel Manthan Shivir’ to be held in January. Rajender and Sri Ravindran Shankaran were officially invited. In this camp, consideration will be given to winning medals and opening a training center under Mission Olympics.
Will also participate in the sports expo to be organized in China
Shreyasi Singh also proposed to participate in the sports expo to be organized in China in the month of May. Dr. Mandaviya immediately accepted this proposal and said that a joint team of officials from Center and Bihar will definitely participate in this expo. Meanwhile, Minister of State Smt. Raksha N. Khadse especially emphasized on the development of sports culture in schools.
Talent selection of school children of Bihar
Shreyasi Singh also discussed in detail with Khadse the topics related to talent selection among school children, their health and scientific training. At the end of the meeting, Shreyasi Singh greeted both the Union Ministers by presenting them with sarees, body clothes and insignia of Bodhi tree decorated with Madhubani paintings depicting the art and culture of Bihar.
A delegation led by Bihar Sports Minister Ms. Shreyasi Singh is on a visit to Delhi. Director General of Bihar State Sports Authority and IPS officer Ravindran Shankaran, Deputy Director Himanshu Singh and two sports advisors of the state were also present in it. This meeting was held between Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State Smt. Raksha N. Khadse met at his official residence in Delhi.
