Varanasi: The beauty and grandeur of Baba Vishwanath Dham, the Nath of Naths located in Varanasi, UP, is now attracting devotees from India and abroad. After the construction of the Dham, the number of devotees coming here is continuously increasing. During the Mahakumbh alone, more than 1.5 crore devotees had darshan and worship of Baba Vishwanath here. Even on normal days, one and a half to two lakh people come to visit every day, whereas on weekends or special occasions this number reaches close to 8 to 10 lakh.

To control such a huge crowd and ensure smooth darshan of all the devotees, the temple administration has prepared a special crowd management system. Under this system, holding areas have been created in the Dham to control the crowd, so that in case of sudden large crowd, the devotees can be stopped safely. Devotees are being easily transported to Baba Dham through the zick-jack line. The entire system is being monitored through head counting cameras.

Many big religious places contacted
Now this system is becoming very popular in other big temples and religious places of the country also. The management of many big temples has contacted the Kashi Vishwanath Temple administration to get this information. Temple CEO Vishwabhushan Mishra said that our team will help the temples in understanding and adopting this system as consultancy and will also be given training for this.

Temple facilities will be expanded
The temple administration also said that a part of the fees received through consultancy will be spent directly on expanding the facilities for the devotees in the temple. Its objective is to give a better and more comfortable experience to the devotees coming to Baba Vishwanath Dham than before.
