Noida Airport Link Expressway: Now preparations are on to connect Noida Airport with Ganga Expressway, after which it will be easy to connect with Meerut, Bulandshahr, Hapur. Preparations to acquire land for this expressway have also been completed.
New Delhi. Preparations are also underway to connect the international airport being built in Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, with the surrounding districts. Now a plan has been made to connect it with Ganga Expressway, which will make it easier to reach the airport from Meerut-Hapur, Bulandshahr and Sambhal. For this, a 74 kilometer long link expressway will be built. To complete this expressway, land of many villages will also be purchased. At present its survey has been completed and the process of purchasing the land will also start from January.
UP Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEDA) has made preparations to connect Noida Airport with the Ganga Expressway originating from Meerut. For this, 740 acres of land in 16 villages of Yamuna Authority area will be purchased, the survey of which has also been completed. The process of purchasing land to build this 74.3 kilometer long expressway will start from January and approximately Rs 1,200 crore will be spent on it.
From where to where will the link expressway go?
This link expressway will connect to the Ganga Expressway going from Meerut to Prayagraj, whose 44.3 km stretch will start from Siyana area of Bulandshahr and the 24.8 km stretch will connect to the Yamuna Expressway near Sector 21 Film City. With this, it will become easier to reach Noida Airport from Hapur, Bulandshahr and Sambhal, all the districts around Ganga Expressway. Airport connectivity will become even better for the people of these districts.
9 kilometer elevated road
About 20 km of this 74 km link expressway is in the Yida area, of which 9 km will be elevated and service roads will be built on both sides, which will facilitate the movement of people in the surrounding areas. At present, the authority is preparing to purchase land for this and hand it over to UPEDA, because UPEDA will complete the construction work of this expressway. After its completion, the districts surrounding the airport will benefit.
Expressway will be built on the land of 56 villages
This link expressway of Noida Airport will be constructed on the land of about 56 villages. This includes 8 villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar district and 48 villages of Bulandshahr district. Out of this, 14 villages of Khurja tehsil are included, while the rest will be from Bulandshahr, Siyana and Shikarpur tehsil. After completing the land acquisition, this project will cost Rs 4,000 crore.
