In such a situation, now devotees will have to wait till March to have darshan of Mahadev. The doors of Lord Mahadev will be officially opened on March 15. However, the doors of the Lord will be opened for 2 days of the festival of Mahashivratri.
Treasurer Fateh Singh Rana said that Lord Bijli Mahadev returns on the Sankranti of Chaitra month and a fair is also organized here. He told that this is the place of 18 Kardu Gods and Goddesses. And from this month all the gods and goddesses become engrossed in penance. In such a situation, in the month of Paush, God Bijli Mahadev also goes into penance. During this time, to maintain peace around the temple, the doors are closed for 3 months. During this period, there is a ban on noise around the temple. But during this time the temple is opened only for Maha Shivratri. When devotees are allowed to come here and get darshan of Mahadev. The temple committee has also requested the devotees not to come towards the Bijli Mahadev temple. In such a situation, the doors of the temple were closed according to Dev Vidhi.
There will be no worship in the temple for 3 months
Fateh Singh Rana, treasurer of Bijli Mahadev Temple Committee, said that no worship is performed in the temple during these 3 months. Nor does any priest live in the temple. In such a situation the door is kept closed for 3 months. During this time only the watchman is present around the temple. During this period, it is mandatory to maintain peace in the temple premises.

But due to the secret works done in 2025, the doors of the temple remained closed this time even during the month of Sawan. In such a situation, devotees were not able to have darshan of Bijli Mahadev this time. In such a situation, this year people had to wait a long time for the darshan of Mahadev. Now devotees will get to see Mahadev only next year.
