Kanpur News: Kanpur Development Authority has given big relief to home buyers. Now in Shatabdi Nagar and Jawaharpuram scheme, one can start living in a flat by depositing only 25% of the amount. The remaining amount will have to be paid in installments. The plan will be approved on December 18.
Kanpur: Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) has given a big and relief opportunity to the city residents to own their house. Now even those who do not have the full amount in lump sum will be able to easily start living in KDA flats. Under the KDA scheme, by depositing only 25 percent of the total price of the flat, the applicant can not only book the flat but can also start living in it. Facility to pay the remaining 75 percent amount in installments will also be given. This scheme will be applicable to KDA’s Shatabdi Nagar and Jawaharpuram residential schemes, where around 7000 flats are available for sale.

Till now many KDA flats were lying vacant because people did not have the facility to deposit the entire amount at once. In view of this, KDA has taken this unique decision. KDA Secretary Abhay Pandey said that only 25 percent amount will be taken from the applicant at the time of booking. After this the applicant will be given the keys of the flat and he can start living there. The remaining amount can be deposited in easy installments, which will reduce the financial burden on the common people.
Flats will start from Rs 10 lakh
According to KDA officials, the starting price of flats available in Shatabdi Nagar and Jawaharpuram scheme is around Rs 10 lakh. Applicants can choose flats from first floor to fourth floor as per their need and budget. As the floor changes, the price of the flat will also change. Target of sale of 7000 flats
KDA aims to sell about 7000 flats under Shatabdi Nagar and Jawaharpuram scheme. Officials believe that after this new facility a large number of people will come forward to buy flats. Approval will be given in the board meeting on 18th December
KDA Secretary Abhay Pandey said that interested people can book the flat from now. However, the formal announcement of this scheme will be made on December 18. This proposal will be finalized in the KDA board meeting to be held on the same day. After the consent of the board, this scheme will be fully implemented. This initiative of KDA has brought relief to thousands of families who till now were not able to buy their own house due to lack of money.
