The demand for tea increases further during the winter season. These days, people are liking the tea available in Arogya Tulsi stall in Gumla. Although tea is available at many places in Gumla, the craze for the tea available here is going crazy.
Gumla goes crazy about jaggery tea
Everyone is crazy about the taste of tea available in Arogya Tulsi, adjacent to Birsa Munda Park, located on Jashpur Road in Gumla city. As soon as the shop opens, a huge gathering of tea lovers is seen here, which continues till the shop is closed. Many types of tea are available here, but people like jaggery tea the most. More than 1 thousand cups of tea is consumed here every day.
How did the idea of opening a tea shop come about?
Director Anmol Kumar told Local 18 that he has studied till graduation and is also preparing for a government job. During this time he thought why not do some work also. Then it came to his mind that there is not a single Arogya Amrittula shop in Gumla district. Besides, he is also very fond of drinking and making tea, so this work seemed best for him.
With this thought in mind, he started Arogya Amrittulya shop near Birsa Munda Agro Park on Jashpur Road in Gumla city. This is the first Arogya Amrittulya branch of Gumla district. After this, many more branches were opened, but even today people prefer the tea from his shop.
Many varieties of tea are available
Anmol Kumar told that many types of tea are available at his shop, like masala tea, Kulhar masala tea, lemon tea, sugar free tea, black tea, jaggery tea, coffee, chocolate tea, basil tea, almond saffron milk. Apart from this, different types of shakes and cold drinks are also available. But tea with jaggery is in highest demand. He appealed to the people to come and taste it once, surely the taste will be amazing. People are liking it very much because of its excellent taste.
Tea is made in pure milk
He told that tea leaves are not used in tea at his shop. Even sugar and jaggery available in the local market are not used. For making tea and coffee, Arogya Amrittula’s sugar, jaggery and other ingredients are brought from Pune. Not even a drop of water is added in making tea, rather tea is prepared from pure Amul milk.
For this reason people like the tea here a lot. More than 1 thousand jaggery tea is consumed daily. Talking about the price, jaggery tea and coffee are available at the rate of Rs 20 per cup. His shop remains open from 7 am to 11 pm.
