An encounter has started between security forces and terrorists in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. It is being told that the terrorists associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed have been surrounded by the security forces. Search operation is being conducted in the entire area and additional forces have been deployed. The operation is ongoing.
Udhampur Encounter News: Encounter has started between security forces and terrorists in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. According to initial information, terrorists associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist organization have been surrounded by security forces. Security has been tightened in the area and additional forces have been sent to the spot. At present the operation is going on and more information is awaited.
Based on accurate information received from Jammu Kashmir Police (JKP), contact has been established with terrorists in Soan village of Majalta area of Udhampur. As soon as the information was received, a joint team of Special Operation Group (SOG) along with Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel took charge and the encounter is currently going on. Security forces are engaged in neutralizing the terrorists in this operation.
