Empty spaces visible in wheat fields? Not properly assembled? Do this work immediately after irrigation

Shahjahanpur : The farmers who had sown the wheat crop at the right time are now getting their first irrigation in their crop. While doing the first irrigation, farmers should keep in mind that if the accumulation of wheat in their field is less then they should do gap filling now, by doing gap filling there will be sufficient number of wheat plants in the field. Due to which the production will be complete, if the farmers do not fill the gap then the production may also decline. But even while filling the gap, farmers need to take precautions.

Dr. NP Gupta, an agricultural expert posted at the Agricultural Science Center, Niamatpur, said that to get good production from any crop, it is necessary that the number of plants in the field is sufficient. If the number of plants remains less then the production may fall. Those farmers who have sown wheat crop and due to some reason the accumulation of wheat is less then now do gap filling by sprinkling while doing the first irrigation, by doing this the farmers will get good production.

Don’t make this mistake by mistake
When the first irrigation is done in the wheat crop and there is so much moisture in the field that it is not getting buried in the soil when kept, at that time the farmer should mark the empty space in the field and make a small drain with the help of a spade or a pointed iron, drop the seeds one by one in that drain and level the soil back. During this time, it is very important for the farmers to keep one important thing in mind, keep in mind that only the already sown variety should be sown now, before doing this the grains may shrink a bit, but there will be no adulteration in the produce, in case of adulteration, farmers sometimes get lower prices in the market.
