Bihar Jharkhand News Today LIVE: Police is in action mode in Bihar. While running a big campaign against mafia in East Champaran, Motihari Police conducted a mega seizure operation in the houses of 97 mafia. All police stations, SDPOs and inspectors came out on the streets with hammers. SP Swarn Prabhat himself took charge of the confiscation operation and after the court order, the police reached the mafia’s house. He showed them the indifference of the law by hitting the windows, doors and frames of his house with a hammer. On the other hand, a speeding Scorpio rammed into a tea shop in Modipur of Jagdishpur police station area of Bhagalpur, in which three people were injured. All the injured are being treated at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical Hospital. Nawada News: Liquor smuggler caught in Nawada, 2688 bottles seized
In Nawada, the Excise Department team seized a huge consignment of foreign liquor. Based on secret information, the team recovered 87 boxes of foreign liquor from a pickup near Fatehpur-Akbarpur overbridge. All these liquor cartoons were kept hidden under manure bags. Smugglers were coming from Jharkhand carrying liquor in plates. The vehicle was caught near Fatehpur Akbarpur over bridge. During the search, under the sacks of manure inside the vehicle, 41 cartons of Royal Stag, Deluxe Premium Whiskey 375 ml, quantity 369 litres, 11 cartons of the same brand of 750 ml, quantity 99 liters and 31 boxes of 180 ml only 267.840 litres. Apart from this, one carton of Blenders Pride Select Premium Whiskey 750 ml quantity 9 liters, one carton of Iconic Whiskey 375 ml quantity 9 liters, one carton of McDowell No. 1 Whiskey 375 ml quantity 9 liters and one carton of Imperial Blue 375 ml quantity 9 liters, total quantity 771.840 liters were recovered. Total number of bottles is 2688.

Motihari News: Cyber fraud gang arrested in Motihari
Police of Chakia police station of Motihari exposed a new gang of cyber fraud. Four cyber frauds were arrested with 6 lakh 50 thousand cash and 20 new mobiles. Police had received information that there is a cyber fraud gang in Chakia police station area of Motihari. He used to steal people’s mobile phones and create UPI accounts with them and commit money fraud. Taking immediate action on a complaint, the police arrested four youths with a motorcycle in Chakia police station area. The accused include Amarkant, Manjay, Raju and Govind. Those who used to pounce on people walking on the road, loot their mobile phones and run away. Used to create UPI account and transact money through it.
