Lucknow: In a major action, the Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Agra Unit has arrested a supporting artist from Mumbai, who had played small roles in web series and films. The name of the arrested accused is Maan Singh, who has worked as a supporting actor in many popular web series like ‘Family Man’ and other films.
ANTF Agra arrested Man Singh from Malwani area of Mumbai. Action was going on against the accused under the NDPS Act (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) for the last one year, because he was involved in drug trafficking. The ANTF team brought the accused from Mumbai and lodged him in the New Police Station of Agra.

Maan Singh’s original residence is in Rajouri Garden, Delhi and he moved to Mumbai in 2008, where he tried to work in the film industry. Wanting to make a name in the film world, he did small roles as a supporting actor in many films and web series, but his real identity came from his involvement in drug trafficking.

According to the information, Man Singh met a young man, after coming in contact with whom he started drug smuggling. Along with his partner, he several times supplied drugs like MDMA to a person from Agra. After this he kept avoiding the eyes of the police, but due to the hard work and promptness of ANTF, he was arrested.
According to the police, Man Singh had an important role in this smuggling network and investigation is going on against him. ANTF officials are considering this arrest as a major success, which will further intensify their war against drug trafficking. It is also clear from this action that drug abuse and smuggling has become a serious problem in the film industry, against which strict steps are being taken.
