Gorakhpur: After the arrest of fake IAS Lalit Kishore alias Gaurav Singh in Gorakhpur, UP, new lists of his exploits are coming out every day. Especially the fake IAS Lalit Kishore was spending the defrauded money to maintain his fake status and on debauchery. The fake IAS used to travel with 20 bodyguards to maintain his reputation.
Police investigation revealed that Gaurav had kept his lifestyle so glittering that no one hesitated in accepting him as an IAS officer. Expensive branded clothes, iPhone, two luxury cars, private guards, used to stay in expensive hotels and meet people. In the initial investigation itself, the police have received information about a flat worth Rs 50 lakh in Lucknow, two properties in Bihar and transactions in several bank accounts in Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Bihar.
Bihar contractor Madhav Mukund, who was a victim of fraud, has exposed the false pride and debauchery of fake IAS Lalit Kishore and said that after coming in contact, I met fake IAS Gaurav Singh in a hotel in the city. Then he asked her to sit on the chair next to him, during which he was listening to the phone and saying that he was coming back after raid from Muzaffarpur. The contractor said that I was very happy to hear all this. During the conversation it came to light that he was an IAS officer. I also started making contacts. Seeing his aura, I was sure that he would be a very big officer. Later, we talked on phone two-three times to increase contact. Then Gaurav said that come and meet me, it is a big task, I am busy right now. On 15 April 2025, I met Gaurav again in Patna. Gaurav talked to me very nicely that day. He made me sit with him for a long time and asked me about my work. I told that I take trainers from government departments. I get construction work done. Then he said, where are you doing small jobs? Let me get you a big central contract worth Rs 500 crore. After this I got trapped in his plan. He did whatever he said.
Gaurav had given the address of his house in Gulriha. I have gone there and met him many times. Gaurav had asked to get a contract worth Rs 450 crore. One of his papers was also sent to me through WhatsApp. A newspaper cutting was sent, in which also there was a release regarding a tender worth Rs 450 crore. Now I set out to get work from him. In three to four months, Gaurav made me spend more than Rs 5 crore. I also gave him luxury cars. But gradually his exploits started appearing in front of me. I also came to know that he is just a fraudster, who cheats people and grabs money.
Along with this, it is also coming to light that fake IAS Lalit Kishore has three girlfriends. According to contractor Madhav, during the meeting with fake IAS Lalit Kishori in a hotel in the city, a beautiful girl of about 20 years came late at night. Everyone in the hotel started looking at her. Then Gaurav told that it is my sister’s daughter. Saying this he took her to his room. After this he did not come out of his room the whole night. In the morning, one of the guards accompanying her joked among themselves by calling her sister-in-law. The guard asked whether the sister-in-law had gone yet or not, as soon as he said this everyone started laughing. Then I too got suspicious, but I thought that he was a senior officer and this was a common thing for him.
Contractor Madhav, the victim of fraud, says that it was he who had provided the luxury vehicles, drivers and personal guards to the fake IAS. But Gaurav’s fraud started getting exposed, Madhav Mukund took back the luxury cars and went away. At present, fake IAS Lalit Kishore alias Gaurav Singh is currently in jail. But his exploits which are coming to light every day are making headlines.
