Now the cold has started increasing in the valley due to light snowfall falling on Baralacha and Shinkula Pass in the evening. The district administration has issued orders to close vehicular movement on Manali-Darcha road on 14 and 15 December 2025 from 9:30 pm to 05:30 am. The minimum temperature was recorded below 5 degrees Celsius in 11 cities of the state on Saturday. The minimum temperature in Shimla, Nahan and Paonta Sahib was recorded at a uniform 10.0 degrees Celsius. Whereas the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 22.0 degrees Celsius in Dharamshala.

The weather is forecast to remain clear in most areas of the state till December 19. However, during this period, there is a possibility of a drop of 2 to 3 degrees in the minimum and maximum temperatures of the state in the next 2 to 3 days.
