Tari Kamalya grows naturally in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand at an altitude of about 900 to 3000 meters. This plant grows in broken rocks, whose length is 12 to 15 inches. During winter, when people have fever in the mountains, a decoction of its leaves is made and drunk. Anti-inflammatory properties are found in it.

It is said that by consuming 5 to 10 grams of this leaf, stones of size 20 to 25 mm get dissolved and removed. For this, one has to prepare its juice or decoction and consume it every morning.
