Azamgarh: Electrical appliances in homes are used as and when required, but they often forget to switch them off after completion of use, which leads to higher electricity bills and energy is also wasted. Imagine that you are going out of your room and you do not need any switch to switch off the power supply of the room, but how would it be if you could do this by clapping.
The power supply of the entire house can be switched on or switched off at once with just the clap of hands. Such technology has been developed by a school child of Azamgarh, which can not only reduce the electricity bill of the house but can also be useful for energy saving.
Unique device made with AI technology
As a school project, a promising student of Harishchandra Mishra Public School (HMPS) of the district has prepared a model which can save both the electricity consumption and electricity bill of the house. This model is designed using sound sensor, which is mainly connected to the power circuit. Designed with AI technology, as soon as it captures the loud sound of clapping, the circuit immediately triggers and starts following the operations of switch on and switch off.
You can control electricity with sound
Using this model, you can switch off the power supply of the house just by clapping or using any loud sound generated by a blow and if needed, you can restart the supply immediately by repeating the same process. This model works like a master switch, which does not need to be touched to use it, rather you can operate it from anywhere just by clapping.
Amazing work of class 8 student
Sheikh Shayan Ashraf, studying in class 8 of HMPS, has achieved this feat. While talking to the team of Local 18, the student said that often we forget to switch off the light, fan or bulb while leaving the room of the house, because often we do not pay attention to the switch board for this, due to which we have to listen to the scolding. In such a situation, to overcome this problem, he has prepared this model with the help of his teachers.
With its help, when we leave the room, we can switch off or switch on the power supply of the room with the help of clapping sound. Shayan explains that this is a model which we can operate by clapping or even by speaking. This model can be used in different ways by setting it to different sound density. The student says that this model can be very useful in energy saving, due to which the electricity bill of the house can be reduced.
useful for home use
In India, where saving electricity and reducing electricity bills is a national priority, this model prepared by a school student studying in class 8 can be very useful for domestic use. This will not only save people’s money, but will also result in energy saving and will also benefit the environment. This project shows the foresight of children and shows that today’s young generation not only understands and recognizes the problems, but is also using technology and creativity to overcome them.
