If you also want to celebrate the New Year amidst the beauty of nature and dense forests, then Bihar’s only Tiger Reserve ‘Valmiki’ is fully ready to welcome the tourists. Dr. Neshamani K., Forest Conservation cum Area Director of Tiger Reserve, says that under the supervision of Ranger Amit Kumar, the work of cleaning and painting at the tourist places of the forest has almost been completed. Tourists visiting VTR i.e. Valmiki Tiger Reserve have also started booking rooms in hotels and guest houses.
According to the information received from the local people, considering the speed of booking, it is being estimated that within a few days all the guest houses and hotels in the area will be completely booked. Like every year, this time too the number of tourists in VTR will set a new record on the first day of the New Year. According to the information received, this time also many attractive places have been developed for tourists amidst dense forests full of rare wild animals. Jhula Bridge, Tree Hut, Selfie Point, Triveni Ka Kinara, Koleshwar, Nar Devi, Jatashankar etc. located in Jungle Camp are many such places which have been specially prepared for the tourists.
Tourists can come here and celebrate the New Year in a forest full of mystery and adventure. The interesting thing is that this time they will get the taste of many other places including hills and local food.
VTR divided into two divisions and 8 ranges
Valmiki Tiger Reserve is spread over about 900 square kilometers. It is divided into two divisions and 8 ranges. There are many such ranges like Valmikinagar, Madanpur, Chiutahan, Ganauli, Govardhana and Mangurahan etc., in which tourists can enjoy jungle safari. During jungle safari they can see many rare creatures including tiger, gaur, sloth bear, leopard, sambar, chital, peacock, wild dog and different types of birds.

It is worth noting that tourists will have to keep some special things in mind for the beginning of the New Year in Valmiki Tiger Reserve. These include things like avoiding noise, not lighting fire in the forest, not consuming intoxicants like alcohol and not damaging forest property.
