Under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Rituraj, 150 students of class 10th and 50 students of class 12th have been selected and given study, food and accommodation facilities in the old Polytechnic building.
Koderma district, which has been topper in Jharkhand’s 10th and 12th examinations for three consecutive years, wants to further strengthen its success this time too. For this purpose, the district administration has taken a unique and commendable initiative. A 45-day boarding cum special class has been started for the top 200 students of the district. So that they can perform better in the upcoming board exams.
Top 200 selection and special features
Deputy Commissioner Rituraj said that a competitive test was organized at the district level for this special class. As a result, 150 students of class 10th and 50 students of class 12th were selected. These children have been provided complete facilities for living, eating and sleeping along with studies. Away from their homes, in a completely study environment, children are completely focusing on exam preparation.
‘Academic Hub’ built in old Polytechnic building
He informed that the old building of the Polytechnic College located at Bagitand has been converted into a major educational center for 45 days. Hostel like facilities have been prepared here for children. 24-hour monitoring, clean rooms, nutritious food and disciplined routine have further increased the enthusiasm of the students.
Strict study schedule from 9 am to 5 pm
From 9 am to 5 pm, students are being taught by experienced government and non-government teachers of the district. This special class is actually a crash course for board exams, where the entire syllabus is being completed on time. Special focus is being given to difficult subjects. Revision and model paper practice is being conducted again and again. Practice is being conducted as per the exam pattern. The children studying here say that the facilities and environment provided by the district administration is giving them more confidence than before. This time the results will definitely be even more impressive.
Focus on entire district, not just top 200
The district administration is not limited to just selected children. The notes, materials and video lectures being taught here are being delivered to all other schools. The rest of the children in the district are also getting equal benefits from this. The aim of the administration is that Koderma should not alone top, but every child of the district should achieve better results.

Koderma district has already created history by being top in the state for three years.
