DCP Headquarters Arpit Jain said that monitoring of crowded places is necessary to avoid a major accident like Goa and hence all 36 police stations have been put under special security arrangements and if any night club violates the security rules, a notice will be issued against them and if necessary, legal action will also be taken.
There are more than 900 night clubs, pubs and restaurants in Gurugram, only 475 have fire NOC.
Fire officer Jayanarayan said that out of 930 pubs, bars and restaurants in Cyber City Gurugram, only 475 have fire NOC, while the rest have not yet taken NOC or the rules are incompletely followed. The fire department has clarified that notices will be issued and action will also be taken against those pubs, bars and restaurants which do not get fire NOC.

Jayanarayan said that fire NOC is issued only under the National Building Code 2016. If entry and exit in any building are not found adequate or other safety standards are not followed, then immediate action will be taken against it. On the other hand, the owners of Gurugram Romeo Lane claim that the security arrangements here are good.
