Lucknow News: A list of illegal settlements is being made in Lucknow, action will be taken after identifying Rohingya-Bangladeshi infiltrators. The Mayor has given instructions to disconnect the electricity connection and prepare a report within three days. There will be alternative arrangements for legal citizens.
Lucknow. The Municipal Corporation is continuously running a campaign to identify Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators in the capital Lucknow. Now a list of all the illegal settlements present in the city will be prepared and complete details of the type of people living there will also be prepared separately. The illegal settlements where electricity connections are installed will also be disconnected by running a campaign.
Instructions to prepare report in three days
After this order, the Municipal Commissioner has directed to prepare the complete report within three days. He has handed over this responsibility to the Additional Municipal Commissioner. Under this, it will be found out where slums have been built on government and semi-government lands in the city and what is the background of the people living in them.

On this, Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharkwal said that wherever there are illegal settlements in the city, they will be identified. His record already exists, which will now be re-checked. He said that he has written a letter to the Municipal Commissioner in this regard and it will also be found out under what rules the electricity connections were given to these illegal settlements and why it has not been disconnected till now. Such people will be thrown out by running a campaign in entire Lucknow. Alternative arrangements for employment and accommodation will be made for those who are from our country.
