Imli Thecha Recipe: You must have eaten many types of chutney or thecha, but today we are going to tell you about tamarind thecha, which is made in a very unique way. Actually, it is prepared by grinding it in a mortar but before that it is roasted a little in fire. Its taste is amazing.
To make tamarind chutney, first of all you have to take four-five tamarinds and leave them in the furnace for some time. You can burn coal or keep it on gas. If there is a tandoor at home then it is even better. It can be cooked easily in that also.
When it is cooked well, take it out. You will see that it has completely turned black from the top and remove all the peel from the top with your hands. Its taste is roasted in fire, very tasty and aromatic.
After removing its peel, you have to mash it well. Take out all the tamarind pulp in a sieve and add one spoon mustard oil, a little black salt, a little red chilli powder, a little chaat masala and if you have guava at home then add half a guava in it.

Mash it well with the help of a sieve. One thing to keep in mind is that you do not have to grind, you have to crush. Meaning it should remain like a contract. This is like grinding with the stone of Silot, grind till it blends well with each other.
Your tamarind thecha is ready. This tamarind chutney tastes very tasty. Eat it like this with rice or paratha or even with roti. Believe me, its sweet and sour flavor tastes quite delicious. You can also add some sugar in it.
Many times many people do not like sour things at all, so they like a little sugar. That is, if you like sweets then add it as per your taste. If you like a little spicy then you can add more red chilli powder or add green chilli also.
Let us tell you, Vitamin C is found in abundance in tamarind and also in guava. Which also works to remove toxins from the body. In such a situation, you will get a good option not only for taste but also for health.
