Method to make Orange Chicken-
The most important thing in this orange chicken recipe is its fresh, flavorful sauce which levels up the entire taste.
First of all, take a pan and add freshly squeezed orange juice into it. Along with this, mix orange zest, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, half teaspoon salt, one-fourth teaspoon black pepper, cornstarch, finely chopped garlic and grated ginger.
Now beat it well with a whisk and cook on medium flame. When the mixture starts boiling, let it cook on low flame for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens a little. Then turn off the flame and let it remain warm.
Now prepare the chicken. Put the boneless chicken cubes in a large bowl and sprinkle them with flour, remaining salt and pepper. With the help of tongs, mix the chicken well and coat it, so that a light layer is formed on each piece.
Heat oil in a wok or deep pan. When the oil becomes very hot, add the chicken. Cook on high flame while stirring for 8 minutes, so that the chicken becomes golden from outside and juicy from inside.
After this, reduce the flame and pour the orange prepared from above into the saucepan. Cook it on low flame for 2-3 minutes, so that the sauce gets absorbed well into the chicken and the flavor reaches deep.
Finally sprinkle chopped green onions (scallions) and sesame seeds on top. Serve the hot orange chicken with rice or noodles and watch how easy it is to forget the butter chicken!
