How did the husband kill his wife?
According to the forensic report, red marks were found on Christina’s neck, which clearly indicate that she was murdered by strangulation. It is also recorded in the report that he was hurt several times before the murder. Cut marks were found on his face, wounds under his eyebrow and nose, wounds on his right leg, foot, shoulder and the back of his head. Not only this, tufts of his hair were also found uprooted, which indicates that there might have been a struggle before the murder. The information revealed in the investigation is even more dangerous. According to the report, the accused dislocated Christina’s bones from their joints before cutting her body into pieces. For this he used things like saw, knife and big scissors used in gardening. Not only this, he even tried to “grind” some body parts by putting them in an industrial blender. Some parts were also mixed in chemicals. All of this was done in the laundry room of the horrible couple’s house. The accused husband claims that he killed his wife in “self-defense”. He says that Christina attacked him with a knife. However, forensic and medical reports prove this claim to be false.

On February 13 last year, Christina’s body was found in the house in Binningen, near Basel, where she lived with her husband and two young children. The accused was arrested the very next day of his death. After a long investigation, the Basel-Landschaft Public Prosecutor’s Office has now filed charges against him. However, the date of the trial has not been decided yet.
