Bukayo Saka (captain), Arsenal£10.2 million – Wolves (h)
This game against Wolves is too juicy to pass up and that makes Saka, Arsenal’s best attacking player, essential.
No statistics are needed to back this up. Manchester United shot 27 times against Wolves on Monday, scoring four and could have had twice as many.
Arsenal will be licking their lips.
rice they declare, Arsenal£7.1m – Wolves (h)
One point behind Bruno Fernandes in the midfield scoring list, Rice is very consistent for Arsenal.
More attacking this season, he has created more chances than any Arsenal player (27) and has five assists to prove it.
He is also the most reliable during minutes, as Mikel Arteta could see this as an opportunity to rotate his team.
Bruno Fernandez, manchester united£9 million – Bournemouth (hours)
Fernandes could have replaced Antoine Semenyo as the FPL’s essential midfielder.
Matchup proof, always a shout out for defensive contribution points (defcon) and with multiple routes to points.
Cole Palmer, Chelsea£10.3 million – Everton (h)
In this week’s punt, Palmer has his first 90 minutes under his belt after a long injury and we know what an explosive asset he can be in the FPL.
It feels like as soon as he has a good game, FPL managers will flock to sign him.
He missed Chelsea’s Champions League defeat to Atalanta, but that was the club that managed his minutes, so he should be fresh for Everton.
Dango Ouattara, Brentford£6m – Leeds (hours)
Leeds come into this match on the back of two great results at home against Chelsea and Liverpool, but away from home they have conceded three goals for every one they have scored.
This will likely be Ouattara’s last game before heading to the African Cup of Nations.
He has been excellent for Brentford this season and has five attacking returns in his last three home games.
