Ticket counters have been built at the station with modern airport-like facilities, where it is very easy to work from one counter to the other. Apart from this, facilities like air-conditioned waiting rooms, escalators, lifts and modern information boards are also available for the convenience of passengers.
The railway station located in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh is undergoing rapid transformation. Under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, it is being developed on the lines of airport. Not only is the image of the station being changed, but a major increase is also being made in the facilities for the passengers. Due to the construction work, the night view of the station has now started looking very different and attractive.

A modern ticket counter has been prepared at the station like an airport. Passengers can easily complete their work from one counter to another. Display boards with new technology have also been installed here, which further increases the modernity and attractiveness of the station.

The platform inside the station has also been developed on the lines of the airport. Here the wonderful matching of tiles and lighting gives a different glow to the platform. Earlier, there was a simple floor laid on the platform, but now it has been replaced with shiny tiles and modern lights, which has increased the beauty of the entire place manifold.
Facilities like air-conditioned waiting rooms, escalators, lifts and modern information boards have been provided at the station. Along with this, food plaza and playing zone for children are also being constructed, so that children can comfortably spend their time playing with food.
A glimpse of spirituality and culture is also clearly visible on the walls of the station. The attractive paintings of Maa Vindhyavasini, Bholenath and other gods and goddesses make the atmosphere here more grand. These pictures are adding to the beauty of the station.
Mirzapur railway station is being redeveloped at a cost of Rs 34.25 crore. Work on platforms two and three is continuing rapidly. It is expected that this work will be completed by 2027, after which the view of the station will look very grand and divine.
