In fact, the Panghal family of Mayna village of Rohtak also had to face problems due to the cancellation of Indigo flight. Rajnarayan Panghal, a lawyer by profession, traveled 800 km in a single night, so that his son could not miss his exam in Indore. Rajnarayan’s son had pre-board exams.

According to the news of English newspaper Tribune, Rajnarayan told that his 17 year old son Ashish studies in 12th class in Indore. He came home on leave. He told that his son is also a shooting player and his exam was on 8th December. Besides, he also got honors in college. In such a situation, when he reached Delhi airport on December 6, he came to know that the flight to Indore had been cancelled. Then he thought that now his son will not be able to reach Indore and he will not be able to get the award he was supposed to get. During this period, even confirmed tickets will not be available in trains so soon.

In such a situation, Rajnarayan decided that he had to send his son to Indore by any means. Therefore he decided to travel to Indore by car. The distance from Delhi to Indore was about 800 km. He drove the car all night and then reached Indore on time the next morning and then everything happened on time.

Why was Indigo flight cancelled?

It is noteworthy that DGCA had recently implemented new rules regarding aircraft pilots. In this, the hours of rest for the pilots were increased and earlier the rule of rest was 36 hours, but now it was increased to 48 hours. Because of this, Indigo claimed that they were short of pilots and had to cancel flights. There was a lot of trouble in night flights and due to this there was an outcry at airports across the country. People’s luggage also got stuck at the airport itself.
