Faridabad: The air of Faridabad and Gurugram is continuously becoming poisonous. The cold is increasing, but the smoke and dust have not reduced the problems of the people. Here the sky looked hazy since this morning and a slight burning sensation was felt while breathing. Pollution levels in both cities oscillated between bad and unhealthy.
The air in many areas is very bad
The average AQI in Faridabad today remained between 130 to 170, but the situation appeared to be worsening in many areas. In areas like Sector 16A, Nathu Colony, NIT, AQI went above 150-170, which means the air became unbreathable. It became difficult to go out in the morning and evening at these places. In areas like Sector 11, 14, 16, 30, 46 and Zinnia Apartment, AQI also remained between 157 to 167. This environment is extremely harmful for children, the elderly and those who already have breathing problems.
Some relief was seen in some sectors like Sector 15A, 77, 82 and Sector 10 HBC where AQI remained around 120-140. But even here the air is not clean, there is just a little less pollution than other places. That’s the only difference.
Ballabhgarh area of Faridabad remained in worse condition. The AQI here remained between 160-185. Staying outside here for a long time can cause sore throat, irritation in the eyes and difficulty in breathing.
The condition of Gurugram is also not good
The story of Gurugram is also similar. The average AQI was recorded around 160-180. It reached 160 in Sector-56, 172 in Sector-51 and 182 in DLF Phase 2. In some reports, AQI was shown between 147 to 260, which means that not every area is equally affected, in some places the air is even worse.
Doctors also warned
Overall, the air of Faridabad and Gurugram still remains a health hazard. Doctors are also clearly saying that until the situation improves, if you have to go out of the house, wear a mask, avoid dust and sunlight and give up habits like morning walk. The government is trying, but there is no hope of quick improvement.
