In the scriptures, the Tulsi plant is considered extremely revered. It is said that Goddess Lakshmi herself resides in the Tulsi plant, hence this plant is very dear to Lord Vishnu. According to Astrologer Dayanath Mishra, keeping Tulsi in the house and serving it brings happiness, peace and prosperity in the house. These 5 changes are necessary to get special blessings.
Serving Tulsi by keeping it in the house brings happiness in the house. According to astrology, if a person is not getting benefits despite keeping Tulsi in the house, then he should immediately make these five changes in the house related to the Tulsi plant. Due to which happiness, peace and prosperity always remains in their life.
First of all change the direction. If you are not getting any benefit even after keeping Tulsi at home, then immediately change the direction of the plant. Tulsi plant should be planted in the north or east direction of your house. If there is enough space in the center of your house then you can keep Tulsi there also. This place is called Brahma Sthan. Keep in mind that do not keep dustbin, shoes, slippers, thorny plants and broom near Tulsi at all.
It is important to offer water to Tulsi every day. But according to the scriptures, there are some days on which giving water to Tulsi is considered prohibited. For example, water should not be offered to Tulsi Mata on Sunday Ekadashi and during eclipse. It is not right to pluck basil leaves on these three occasions. In the houses where this is done continuously, Goddess Lakshmi never resides there and Lakshmi gets angry.
