Bihar Cadre IAS Raj Krishna: Sitamarhi’s IAS Raj Krishna Jha, who hoisted the flag of Bihar in the result of UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024, has got home (Bihar) cadre. He got 8th rank in the result. Out of total 1031 marks, 831 marks were obtained in the written examination and 200 marks were obtained in the interview.
The cadre allotment list has been released for the candidates passing the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024. In this series, Bihar has got 10 new IAS officers. One name in this is that of Raj Krishna.
IAS Raj Krishna Jha, resident of Athri village of Runnisaidpur, Sitamarhi, has got home cadre. Raj Krishna had cracked the UPSC Civil Services 2024 exam at rank 8. He had obtained a total of 1031 marks. He got 831 marks in the written examination and 200 marks in the interview round.
After the results came, Raj Krishna along with his mother went to meet Khana sir. Khan sir honored both of them and demanded Balushahi, the special sweet of Runnisaidpur. He said that when you will get Bihar cadre and come as DM of Patna, then he will meet you again with the same enthusiasm.

Let us tell you that his primary education was from Jhapa district of Nepal. Raj Krishna’s father was a teacher in a private school in Nepal, due to which he studied there. However, after that he passed 12th from Langat Singh College in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. Did B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Motilal National Institute of Technology, Prayagraj.
The elder sister in the family is Bhuvaneshwar and her brother-in-law is a professor. Whereas elder brother Balkrishna Jha is an engineer in Bihar government. He is currently working in Patna. Raj Krishna is proud of being the first IAS in the family.
Before UPSC, Raj Krishna had contributed as Assistant Manager in Hindustan Petroleum. This success was achieved in the fourth attempt of UPSC. Raj Krishna Jha had kept Hindi as optional and Geography as the main subject in UPSC Civil Services Examination.
