Many people suffer from iron deficiency, in such a situation meat and eggs help in increasing the level of hemoglobin in the body. At the same time, Omega-3 fatty acids present in fish work like medicine for the heart, which improves blood circulation. This is the reason why doctors consider fish to be healthier than other non-veg options.
In daily life, not only the benefit but its quantity also matters. According to health experts, it is absolutely fine to take non-veg 2 to 3 times a week. Consuming 100 to 150 grams at a time is considered safe. That is, if you have eaten chicken one day, then eating mutton the next day can increase the pressure on both your digestion and heart. Lifestyle and physical activity also play an important role according to this quantity. Those who have less activity, the quantity should be kept even less.

What are the side effects of eating too much non-veg?
Cholesterol level is first affected by eating more non-veg. Especially regular consumption of red meat like mutton or beef can harm the heart. The reason for this is saturated fat, which starts blocking the arteries. This increases the risk of heart attack, stroke and high BP. Excess non-veg can also become a major reason for weight gain because it contains more calories. At the same time, poorly cooked or repeatedly fried meat can impair digestion, causing problems like gas, constipation and acidity.
