Ingredients to Make Herbal Sunscreen
Aloe vera gel – 2 tbsp (to cool and moisturize the skin)
Coconut oil – 1 tbsp (for moisturizing and anti-bacterial properties)
Sesame oil – 1 tbsp (for natural sun protection)
Shea Butter – 1 tbsp (to nourish the skin)
Zinc Oxide Powder – 1 tsp (to protect against UV rays)
Rose water – 1 tablespoon (to refresh skin)
Lavender or Sandalwood Essential Oil – 3-4 drops (for fragrance and anti-inflammatory properties)
Method of preparation
First of all, add aloe vera gel and rose water in a clean bowl and mix well.
Now add coconut oil, sesame oil and shea butter in it. Heat the shea butter lightly and add it so that it mixes easily.
Beat the mixture well until it becomes smooth.
Now add zinc oxide powder to it and mix well again. Keep in mind that the powder dissolves completely.
Finally add a few drops of essential oil and store the cream in an airtight container in a cool place.
How to use?
Apply on face and hands 15 minutes before going out.
Reapply every 3-4 hours, especially if spending a lot of time in the sun.

Increasing the amount of zinc oxide increases the SPF level.
If your skin is oily then use jojoba oil instead of coconut oil.
