Indigo Flight Crisis LIVE Updates: Delhi High Court will hold an important hearing today on the petition filed regarding Indigo flight cancellations. This hearing is taking place at a time when Indigo flights have been facing frequent cancellations and delays at airports across the country for the last several days. In this petition, a demand has been made to give instructions to the Central Government and Indigo so that the situation can be normalized and the passengers can get relief.
At the same time, according to the morning update, Indigo has re-scheduled many flights even today, while some flights on different routes have also been cancelled. However, the situation at almost all airports is almost normal. The airline claims that efforts are underway to stabilize the network. At the same time, in December, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, taking a serious stand on the notice of DGCA, reviewed Indigo’s winter schedule and ordered to reduce it by at least 10%.
The ministry also admitted that IndiGo has failed in the management of its aircraft and pilot crew resources, due to which crises ranging from flight cancellation to baggage detention have arisen. At the same time, DGCA has issued a new notice by modifying the show-cause notice given recently. Also, direct surveillance has been started at the airport.

Indigo Flight Crisis LIVE Updates: High Court will hear on Indigo Crisis today
- An important petition filed regarding Indigo cancellation will be heard in Delhi High Court today. The petition has sought to issue instructions to both the Central Government and IndiGo, so that the stranded passengers get immediate relief, they are given appropriate refunds and adequate support can be ensured at the airports.
- The petitioner’s lawyer told the division bench headed by the Chief Justice that the ground situation at many airports has become very inhumane. Passengers are standing in queues for hours, at many places even drinking water, information and humanitarian aid is not available.
- The petitioner told the court that neither Indigo is giving refunds to the passengers on time nor any clear information is being given by the ground staff. Many passengers have been left helpless after their flights were canceled and do not know when and how their next travel arrangements will be made.
- It has been said in the petition that passengers should get service as per their rights and the airline should not shy away from its responsibilities.
