Yoga For Mental Peace: In today’s fast-paced life, stress has become a part of everyone’s life. The mind gets tired quickly due to office work, household responsibilities and constant running around. Many times it seems that the mind just needs some peace, but cannot understand the path. In such a situation, yoga is an easy and natural method, which helps in relaxing both body and mind without any harm.
Yoga is not just an exercise but a beautiful process of connecting with yourself. Techniques like correct posture, deep breathing, meditation and yoga nidra not only reduce stress but also fill positive thinking and confidence in life. If you also want a calm, balanced and happy life, then yoga can become a new beginning for you.
If you also feel stressed, nervous or uneasy, then these easy yoga asanas can help you a lot. You can do these easily at home without any special preparation.
Balasana (Child’s Pose)
To do this asana, sit on your knees and slowly lean forward. Rest your forehead on the ground or yoga mat and extend your hands forward or keep them near the feet. During this time keep taking deep breaths. Within 3 to 5 minutes, both body and mind start getting peace.
Viparita Karani Mudra (Lying with legs raised on the wall)
For this, lie down comfortably near the wall and rest both your legs straight upwards on the wall. Keep your hips near the wall and place your hands on your stomach or chest. Now close your eyes and keep breathing comfortably. This asana relaxes the body very deeply and helps in reducing stress.
Shavasana (Completely Relaxed)
This is the easiest but most effective yoga asana. For this, lie down on your back, spread your legs a little and leave your toes loose. Keep your hands at a short distance from the body. Close your eyes and concentrate on breathing. By remaining in this posture for 10 to 20 minutes, the mind becomes calm and the fatigue of the body begins to go away.
By doing these three yogasanas daily, you will gradually feel a different kind of peace inside you. Sleep will be better, mind will feel lighter and the impact of small things will start reducing. Yoga is not just exercise, but also a beautiful way to spend time with yourself, which makes you strong from within. So next time if you feel stressed then definitely do these three yoga exercises.
