Abhinav Kumar/Darbhanga: A video of the minister hitting his shorts while falling has surfaced in Darbhanga district of Bihar. This video of his is attracting people. The District Level Cricket Cup Tournament 2025 was inaugurated on 7 December 2025 in the grounds of Kazi Ahmed Degree College at Kazi Maulana Mujahidul Islam Memorial in Jale area of Darbhanga. Former minister of Bihar government and MLA of Jale assembly constituency Jeevesh Kumar also attended this tournament. He also inaugurated this district level cricket cup tournament by cutting the ribbon.
On the occasion of the inauguration, an exhibition match was played between Jale Administration 11 and Jale Legends cricket team. In this match, Jale Administration 11 team won the toss and came to bat first. Jale Administration 11 team scored 157 runs at the loss of five wickets in the stipulated overs. The team playing first gave Jale Legend Cricket Team a target of 158 runs to win. Jale Administration won the match by 37 runs.

Block Development Officer Jail Manoj Kumar took two wickets for 27 runs in three overs.
In this match, the Best Player of the Match award was given to Jale Police Station President Sandeep Kumar Pal. Former minister Jeevesh Kumar performed well while batting on behalf of his team. During this time, while taking a shot, MLA Jeevesh Kumar fell on the pitch but, showing his agility, got up and started running.
