BPSC Paper Leak: Economic Offenses Unit arrested Sanjeev Mukhiya gang member Sanjay Kumar Prabhat from Patna, who was wanted in the BPSC TRE 3.0 paper leak case. Its network extends to Telangana and Uttarakhand. EOU, the nodal unit of Bihar Police, has intensified raids across the state ahead of the Driver Constable Recruitment Examination and Enforcement Sub-Inspector Examination. Its objective is to break the organized gangs that cause irregularities in the examinations.
Patna. Bihar’s Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) has achieved great success against the paper leak mafia. EOU has arrested Sanjay Kumar Prabhat, an active member of the notorious Sanjeev Mukhiya gang. He was caught from Gola Road area of Patna. Authorities detained him on Monday and sent him to jail on Tuesday. Sanjay Prabhat was on the radar of the investigating agency for a long time. He was wanted in the BPSC TRE 3.0 paper leak scandal.
Sanjay Prabhat is accused of having collected around Rs 1 lakh from each candidate for leaking the question paper. This arrest has taken place at a time when many important recruitment examinations are going to be held in Bihar. The objective of EOU is to conduct these examinations in a fair manner. Sanjay has given many important information related to the paper leak during interrogation.
Sanjeev Mukhiya may also be interrogated: After the arrest of Sanjay Prabhat, the noose can also be tightened against gang leader Sanjeev Mukhiya. EOU is now preparing to interrogate Sanjeev Mukhiya in this matter. Sanjeev is currently out on bail in the NEET UG paper leak case. Sanjay Prabhat has confessed during interrogation that he has leaked the papers of many competitive examinations. He has also made huge amount of illegal wealth from this business. He had also collected admit cards from many candidates for the upcoming examinations.
Network extended to Hyderabad and Uttarakhand: Sanjay Prabhat’s criminal record is quite old. Its network is not limited to Bihar only. He is also an accused in the TSEAMCET 2016 paper leak case of Telangana. Hyderabad CID is investigating this case. Apart from this, his name is also included in the AIPMT 2016 leak case registered in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. He is a vicious criminal who has been leaking papers in different states.
289 accused arrested so far: EOU has so far arrested 289 accused in the BPSC TRE-3 paper leak case. Raids are continuing in search of the remaining suspects.
