New Delhi. You and I must have heard many stories of love triangle. Often, seeing their love lost at the hands of others, youth do not shy away from playing bloody games. The latest game of love triangle in Delhi was so dangerous that to trap the other person, the young man sent threatening e-mails to the police commissioners of two cities. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the entire incident came to light when the police started investigation. Actually, the accused youth wanted to implicate his lover’s companion in the case of sending a threatening e-mail to the police commissioner, but the police finally reached the truth.
Threat to Delhi-Bengaluru Commissioner
Delhi Police Crime Branch has solved a high-profile cyber crime case. This case is related to an online love triangle and personal rivalry. A 22-year-old boy hatched a terrible conspiracy to teach another boy a lesson. He sent threatening emails to the police commissioners of Delhi and Bengaluru in the name of the terrorist organization. Crime Branch has arrested the accused Abhay Shee. Abhay was arguing online with a boy named Mohit about a female friend. When he could not become the girl’s lover, he hatched this cyber conspiracy out of revenge.
Implicated in extortion case of Rs 300 crore
The case started on December 7 when the Delhi Police Commissioner received a threatening mail. The sender of the mail associated himself with a banned terrorist organization. In the mail, extortion of Rs 300 crore was sought and a mobile number was given. Due to the sensitivity of the matter, investigation was started immediately. DCP Crime Branch team traced the number. The location turned out to be Gurugram, where 23 year old Mohit was found. During police interrogation, it was revealed that the person whom the police was searching for was the victim himself. Mohit was continuously being sent fake calls, threatening mails and cyber complaints in his name. Mohit told that his number was also used in the mail sent to the Bengaluru Police Commissioner. Even Rajasthan Police (Ganganagar) was sent fake threats of bomb blasts and rape-murder in his name.
The three never met each other
After Mohit’s statement, police caught Abhay Shee from Saket (Delhi). Abhay revealed the whole truth in front of the crime branch. He did all this due to online rivalry with Mohit. Actually Mohit had befriended a girl online. This thing displeased Abhay. Abhay used VPN and spoofing tools. He created a fake email ID to trap Mohit. His resentment was so deep that it endangered the law and order of the entire country. Police said that the three people (Abhay, Mohit and the girl) had never met. This was a dangerous consequence of the one-sided rivalry that developed on the Internet.
