AIIMS Gorakhpur Job: Interview date is 10 December 2025. The maximum age limit is fixed at 45 years. SC/ST candidates will get 5 years relaxation and OBC candidates will get 3 years relaxation. A provision for relaxation of up to 10-15 years has been made for disabled candidates. Final selection will be done on the basis of performance in the interview.
Gorakhpur. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Gorakhpur) has released the recruitment notification for 61 posts of Senior Resident for the year 2025. The special thing is that this time the candidates will not have to go through any long online process. Selection will be done on the basis of direct walk-in interview. That is, eligible candidates can reach the scheduled date with documents and give the interview directly. The institute said that in this recruitment, maximum 10 posts each have been kept in Anesthesia, Trauma and Emergency departments. There are 7 posts each in General Medicine and General Surgery, while there are 4 posts in Pediatrics. Vacancy is available for all categories SC, ST, OBC, EWS and UR.
Who can apply
For the post of Senior Resident, it is mandatory for the candidate to have MD, MS or DNB degree from NMC recognized university. Degree in related branches like Trauma, Emergency, Anesthesia, General Medicine, General Surgery or Orthopedics will be valid. It will be mandatory to bring the certificate of registration with Medical Council (NMC/MCI/State) at the time of interview. Candidates who have previously completed 3 years of senior residency in a government hospital will not be eligible for this recruitment.
How to apply
Selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs 67,700 per month (as per Level 11, 7th CPC). General allowances and NPS will also be applicable. All eligible candidates can directly appear for walk-in interview. If a large number of applications come in any department, there will be an option to conduct the written examination first. Final selection will be based on performance in the interview. Candidates should download and fill the application form (Annexure I) and bio-data (Annexure II).
Enter NEFT transaction details in the application form. Bring the filled form, payment receipt and all original documents on the day of interview. It is mandatory for candidates working in government institutions to bring NOC. Walk-in interview is scheduled on 10 December 2025.
