Jharkhand News: There was a heated argument between Congress Legislature Party leader Pradeep Yadav and Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari in Ranchi Assembly. When Pradeep Yadav raised the issue of irregularities in the department, Minister Irfan Ansari termed the things as lies.

Dumkah Two big leaders of Jharkhand Congress came face to face. Political controversy broke out over the theft of valuable equipment from the new health center located at Hansdiha in Dumka district. A few days ago, the government had to suffer huge losses after health equipment worth crores of rupees was stolen. On this issue, Congress Legislature Party leader and Podaiyahat MLA Pradeep Yadav has made serious allegations against the health department. So, Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari attacked. Said- prove it or apologize.
MLA Pradeep Yadav said that due to the negligence of the department, equipment worth about Rs 25 crore has gone missing from the health centre. Pradeep Yadav raised questions in the House and asked why Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari is silent on this serious matter. He says that the hospital has not even started yet, but in the meanwhile a large number of machines and materials were stolen.
Congress leaders came face to face
MLA Pradeep Yadav termed the reply given by the department in this matter as unsatisfactory and said that machines worth crores going missing in a project worth Rs 300 crore is not an ordinary matter. He demanded a high-level investigation into the entire matter and strict action against the culprits. The Speaker has also given permission to take this issue into the cognizance of the House.
What did Minister Irfan Ansari say?
On the other hand, Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari has given a sharp reaction to Pradeep Yadav’s allegations. While talking to the media, he said that theft has definitely taken place, but it is not of Rs 25 crore but of around Rs 1 crore. He challenged and said that if Pradeep Yadav is claiming theft of Rs 25 crore then he should present proof of it, otherwise he should apologise. The theft of Hansdiha Health Center has not only raised questions on the government system, but has also exposed the growing tussle within the Congress.
