Tips and Tricks: What is that kitchen without ginger? Now people have started growing ginger at home, which is important for both taste and health and the good thing is that it can be easily prepared in a pot also. According to experts, for seed ginger, choose fresh, thick bulb which has small buds present. Mix equal amounts of loose soil, cow dung manure and sand in the pot and plant the ginger pieces by pressing them to a depth of 2-3 inches. Keep the pot in a shady place and maintain moisture in the soil, although do not water too much. After 7-8 months, when the leaves turn yellow and start drying, then understand that the ginger is ready. Home-grown chemical-free fresh ginger is very beneficial for health along with taste.
