Devendra Dhivar says that to plant Danthus, a pot of at least 8 inches is required. However, if the plant is wanted big and dense then a 10 to 12 inch pot is considered most suitable. This size helps the plant’s roots to spread and more buds to appear. Usually its seedling is done before the onset of cold, but if time is short then a ready plant can be taken from the nursery and planted directly in the pot. How is compost made?
He told that while preparing pot soil, fertilizer should be made by mixing mustard cake, neem cake and vermicompost. This mixture provides initial nutrition to the plant and ensures rapid growth. At the same time, for early and more flowering in the plant, giving a mixture of mustard cake, neem cake and bone meal is considered most effective. If cow dung manure is available in the house, then it is considered to be the best natural fertilizer for any flowering plant.
